We Need Your Support!
Our organization’s continued success depends on generous and loyal support from a wide membership.
We need your support in our campaign for open, ethical, accountable government, and there are many important issue on our agenda. Gifts made to Common Cause which are designated for Rhode Island fund important reform efforts here in our state. You may also make a gift to the national Common Cause office in Washington, to be used by the national organization to fund reform efforts of national scope.
We hope you will choose to support the Common Cause reform movement at both levels, but if you wish to make a gift to the Rhode Island chapter, please keep in mind that your gift must be specifically designated to Rhode Island.

You are welcome to contribute by mailing a check. Please make checks payable to: COMMON CAUSE and DESIGNATE RHODE ISLAND IN THE MEMO LINE OF THE CHECK. Checks for Common Cause RI may be mailed to our office at 245 Waterman Street, Suite 400A, Providence, RI 02906.
Because we lobby for specific constitutional amendments, laws & regulations to improve government process, gifts to Common Cause are not tax-deductible as charitable contributions.
To make a tax-deductible contribution, please make your check out to the Common Cause Education Fund and DESIGNATE RHODE ISLAND IN THE MEMO LINE OF THE CHECK. Contributions to the Education Fund are used for educational programs and research. Checks may be mailed to our office at 245 Waterman Street, Suite 400A, Providence, RI 02906.

Honor Phil West & Our Efforts With An Endowment Gift
The Phil West Spirit of Common Cause RI Fund was established in 2006 at the Rhode Island Foundation to honor the legacy and leadership of Phil West, executive director of Common Cause RI from 1988 - 2006.
Annual proceeds from this permanent endowment, managed by the Rhode Island Foundation, will be used to fund special research and education opportunities to further the mission of Common Cause RI.
To make a gift to the Phil West Fund, please make your check payable to THE RHODE ISLAND FOUNDATION and note “The Phil West Fund” in the memo line. You may also make a gift to the Common Cause RI endowment directly through the Rhode Island Foundation’s webste. Simply select the Phil West Fund from the drop-down menu.
